Images and custom graphic designs are the heart of visual marketing. Whether you are showing restaurant menus, event notices, team photos, or promotional flyers, Variabl's Image app lets you display them beautifully.
Step-by-Step Guide to Add an Image

Obtain your Image Link
Currently, Variabl displays images hosted online:
- Upload your image to an image host, your own server, or a cloud drive (ensure it is publicly accessible).
- Copy the direct image link (the URL should end with
.png,.jpg,.jpeg,.webp, or.gif).

Open your Playlist in Variabl
Log in to your Variabl Dashboard and select the playlist you want to modify.

Open the App Selection
Click on the + New button to bring up the Choose an App dialog.

Choose Image
Click on the Image option.

Configure and Save
- Image URL: Paste the direct image link from Step 1.
- Title: Enter a helpful label (e.g., "Lunch Menu").
- Scale: Choose whether to Cover (stretch to fill screen), Contain (fit image fully inside screen), or keep it at Original size.
- Background Color: If you select "Contain", choose a background color to fill the side bars.
- Click Save. The image will be added to your display loop.
